Stuck in keychain password loop cursor not working password not working HELP!

I unplugged my newish imac which is my first and I don't know anything about yet.

I do not remember doing anything with the keychain when I first set it up.

I just unplugged it to move it. I use my appleID password to log in. I don't remember if I set an authentic password when I first set things up or if I'm just using my appleID password. Now it wants a keychain password which I thought was the same. It won't accept my appleID password...I don't remember the last one I was using so I had just changed it on my phone. It's stuck and when I open the keychain access box, the cursor doesn't work, it's just spinning rainbow colors, not allowing me to click. I can only click within the keychain password box. I don't know what to do and can't use my new shiny expensive imac. Please help me.
